Terra & my new Etsy Shop

Hello, everyone!
I know it's been a little while since I've posted last... guess I've had my hands full!
Ricky & I have adopted a boxer from the Blue Ridge Boxer Rescue in NC. Her name is Terra and she's such a sweet girl. We're really lucky to have found her...what a big goofball :~)


I've also been making some small boxer sculpts for fun, and decided to put them on Etsy. Here's a link to my new shop:

I've got a couple commissions in the works already and I'm donating part of each sale to the rescue. Wish me luck!

I think I'm going to make 'post more often on your blog!' my early New Year's Resolution.
Here's something I'm working on now: it'll be in a book of poems for kindergartners for Harcourt Publishers. I love how I've been asked to do more and more beach/summery scenes lately...I now have plenty of inspiration here in Charleston! Mmm, and amazing seafood, too ;~)
This final is due Monday, I'll post again soon!

Storming the Globe!

Hello!
I've been busy illustrating, and this here is piece #3 out of 4 deadlines due this week! Whew! :~) It's a magazine cover dealing with different ways media/information is used globally. I'm so happy I was asked to work on a paper sculpture this time; 90% of my work is polymer clay (which I love) but it's refreshing to be able to mix it up once in a while!
I'll have more to share with you on Friday, and then I'm off to Charleston, SC for apartment hunting!!! Wish me luck!
